Staking – Earn While Holding​

MoonBags offers a staking mechanism for every tokens launched on MoonBags

  • 25% of trading fees in SUI are distributed to stakers of that token
  • These trading fee rewards are allocated proportionally based on each holder’s staked amount.

In addition to earning a share of trading fees, holders also receive APY rewards from staking, depending on the token.

This system not only provides a strong source of passive income for token holders but also serves as an incentive for long-term holding, ensuring the sustainability of projects rather than just encouraging short-term buy-and-sell speculation.

How to stake tokens on MoonBags?​

You can stake any token launched on MoonBags, as long as you hold the token in your wallet.

Stake via Token Pair Page:

  1. Visit the Token Pair Page of the token you want to stake.
  2. In the bottom-left corner, find the Token Stake section and click “Manage”
  3. Enter the amount you want to stake, Click “Stake.”

Manage Your Staking:

  1. Go to Moonbags.io and select “Staking” from the top navigation bar.

  2. Click “My Staking” to see all your active stakes.

  • Staked tokens will be locked for 1 hour. You can only unstake after the 1-hour lock period ends.
  • You can claim rewards at any time

How to Claim Rewards for Token Staking on MoonBags​

There are two main ways to claim your staking rewards on MoonBags:

Method 1: Claim via the Token Pair Page​

Step 1 (Optional): Distribute rewards through “Distribute” Button​

  1. Go to the Token Pair Page of the token you've staked.

  2. Click the “Distribute” button.

    Note: Anyone can click this button to distribute rewards to Rewards Pool and pay fee for the distribute transaction.

  3. Approve the transaction in your wallet.

  4. Rewards will be distributed to token stakers, $SHR0 stakers and Creators rewards Pools.

Step 2: Claim Rewards to your wallet​

Option 1: Via the “Manage” Button in Token Pair page​

  1. On the Token Pair Page, click “Manage” in the staking section.

  2. A pop-up will appear with three tabs: Stake, Unstake, and Claim.

  3. Click on the “Claim” tab. Them choose "Claim". You can only click "Claim" if your amount available to claim > 0  

  4. Approve the transaction in your wallet.

  5. Rewards will be distributed to your wallet.

Option 2: Claim via the Staking Dashboard​

  1. Click the “Staking” tab in the top navigation bar of Moonbags.io

  2. Select “My Staking” to view your active staking positions. Find the token for which you want to claim rewards. Then click “Manage” at the end of the token’s row.

  3. A pop-up will appear with three tabs: Stake, Unstake, and Claim like the above part "Claim via the “Manage” Button"  

  4. Click the “Claim” tab and approve the transaction in your wallet.  

  5. Rewards will be distributed to your wallet based on your staked amount.
